Heller, American Hunting & Fishing bibliography; "A rare account of several deer hunting trips made by the author and friends, commencing in 1898. Their camp site was Bent's Camp, a public resort in Vilas County, Wisconsin which adjoins the northern portion of the Michigan peninsula. Many a hunting book has been written about some public figure who liked hunting, but this book tops them all." (Heller is referring to legendary baseball pitcher Cy Young, who joined the hunters in the story.) A very, very scarce title on deer hunting in Wisconsin.
