Translated from French. Although the book was published in the 1950s the stories take place much earlier as the author talks of killing his first tiger in 1916. The hunting seems to have taken place in French Indo-China, today Vietnam. Czech/Asia states "This work is as much a natural history study of tigers as it is a sporting book." However, upon reading it we found a considerable amount of hunting information as well as material on man-eating tigers.
