Gilt bright, plates bright and fresh condition, original printed tissue guards. The cloth is NOT FADED anywhere which is near impossible to find on these books. Minimal, very slight shelf wear, corners not bent. Inner hinges in good shape. Small minor marks on spine, possibly insect caused, we will send photos upon request. Anderson Bryden is listed as the general editor for the Africa volume, although Lydekker did most of the work for this book as well as the other 4.)
