William Morden traveled together with James Clark in Central Asia. He hunted extensively for that grand animal, Marco Polo sheep, and he went after the Ovis ammon darwini and Ovis ammon ammon in Mongolia. They also hunted Ovis ammon littledali in what is today Kazakhstan and Kirghizia. Includes maral and roe deer. Finally the authors are captured by a band of Mongolian thugs and held captive. An exciting, interesting story, especially since virtually all the areas described herein are being hunted again today!
