One year safari in the Tana River area, Kenya. Much on the big five and in addition it has excellent illustrations. A civil servant in India, Bennett spent a year-long furlough hunting in British East Africa. He traveled along the Tana River, bagging buffalo, eland and rhinoceros. He concluded his tour with a safari to Lake Victoria where he hunted topi, roan and hippopotamus. A species by species analysis of wild game in the area is also provided. Enjoyable to read.
