A photo album of a French hunter who visited French Equatorial Africa on a 60-day journey. The album contains 3 clippings of articles (in French) about Mr. Remodon’s trips one of which is page from “Le Saint-Hubbert”, the official newspaper of the St. Hubert Club of France. Author shot 3 elephants, 3 buffaloes, damalisque, cob, roan and others (including a leopard) for a total of 17 animals. Apparently the hunting part of this trip was an actual 25 days. Album contains 29 excellent quality black and white photos besides the articles. Most of the photos are of buffalo and elephant, the hunter shot some very large ivory and is also shown being carried around in a machilla. Hunting in colonial Africa as it was in the days of virtually unrestricted hunting.
