This is a COMPLETE set of Safari Magazines from the VERY FIRST issue published in 1971 till 2015. This includes ALL the EARLY issues from the 1970s which range from very hard to almost impossible to find. In total there are 244 issues in this set. Within these magazines you will find hundreds of stories ranging from whitetail to Marco Polo sheep written by some of the greats of the outdoor world such as Craig Boddington, John Sundra, and man prominent early members such as C.J. McElroy, Art Carlsberg, Elgin Gates and many others. Equally important it is a record of members who took pioneering hunts in the Congo, Afghanistan, Zaire and Peru etc. many of which were hunts that will never be repeated. Because the early issues were only published sporadically with odd intervals it is actually very hard to know if a set is complete or not. In fact when SCI celebrated its 35th anniversary they published a series of covers of a “complete” set but it was not. We guarantee this set to be complete and will offer documentation for same. We have been in this business over 30 years we have NEVER seen or heard of a complete set of SCI magazines being offered for sale.
