Arthur de Carle Sowerby spent much of his life in China. He is one of the very few Westerners that wrote about hunting in China and documented its wildlife before WW II. In this book there is hunting for and descriptions of Asian wapiti (maral), Asian black bear, sika and goral. Very scarce book, especially since it was printed in China and few copies seem to have come to the West.
