President T.R. was a most active hunter. His love for nature is evident in most of his books, including this one. Sheep, grizzly, elk etc. This is a much sought-after book by collectors of big-game hunting and Western Americana. Copies of this book have become very scarce in recent years. The very uncommon Medora Edition consisting of 500 copies and the true first edition as the trade edition did not appear until the following year.
