The title page states 7th edition but the original binding states 6th edition. It appears that there was a mis-print. Item #000575
The most extensive coverage to date of all aspects of hunting/game in India. Includes measurements of record heads and skin measurements. It was Asian hunting author Peter Byrne who alerted us that this sixth edition has the story of how the biggest tiger ever shot is recorded in this book. He also stated to us “I've had a copy since I was a planter in India in the forties ... for young shikaris it was the bible!”
