One of the more desirable North American titles that is surprisingly hard to find. Author visited the canyons of the Colorado and the Teton Basin, and experienced ranch life in Montana & Wyoming. The Appendix includes observations on the Wind River & Shoshone Mountains, outfitting for sportsman, the wapiti, "mauvaises terres" [badlands], the bighorn, the Teton Basin, the beaver, & an analyses of the cattle ranch business.
